FRANKFURT - Day 01

Welcome to your tour with Europamundo! We’ll transfer you to the hotel and you’ll have some free time. In the afternoon, you’ll find information about the start of your tour on the boards located at the hotel reception.

COLOGNE - Day 02

Today, we’ll explore the Rhine and Moselle Valleys, two rivers full of history and dotted with charming villages. We´ll begin with a short cruise on the Rhine, between the villages of Rüdesheim and Sankt Goar, undoubtedly the most picturesque section of the river. Next, we’ll head to the Moselle River, stopping for lunch in Cochem, a picturesque village on the Rhine riverbank overlooked by its imposing castle, which dates back over a thousand years. Afterward, we’ll travel to Cologne, where you´ll have time to visit its impressive Gothic cathedral. Standing at 154 meters tall, it was the tallest building in the world until the late 19th century. You can also enjoy a walk along the Rhine River and through the lively city center before we continue to our hotel in Dortmund.

DORTMUND - Day 03

Today, we’ll embark on a magical journey, reminiscing about our favorite childhood stories and movies as we travel through the towns that inspired the Brothers Grimm, now known as the Fairy Tale Route. Our first stop will be Trendelburg, a picturesque walled village where we’ll visit the large medieval castle and its famous Rapunzel Tower (admission included).

We’ll continue along scenic roads, crossing forests that will remind us of the tale of Hansel and Gretel. We’ll stop for lunch in Höxter, a vibrant town where we’ll visit Corvey Abbey, an ancient 9th-century monastery and World Heritage Site (admission included). We’ll then stop in Polle to visit the ruins of Cinderella’s Castle (admission included). Our journey will continue to Hamelin, renowned for the tale of “The Pied Piper of Hamelin”. After following the mouse tracks, we’ll proceed to Hanover, where there will be time to take a stroll near the old town hall.

-Corvey Abbey is closed from November to February.

HANNOVER - Day 04

After breakfast, our route will continue to Goslar, one of the most beautiful villages in Germany with wooden architecture, ancient walls, and squares. You´ll have time to explore. Next, we proceed to Quedlinburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its historic center with over 2,100 half-timbered houses that have remained nearly unscathed for centuries. The town hall and Collegiate Castle are also noteworthy. Enjoy free time for a stroll and lunch. We then continue to Berlin, arriving in the evening. ​

BERLIN - Day 05

Immerse yourself in the local culture with a guided panoramic tour of Berlin, the captivating capital of Germany. We’ll see the historic center, Museum Island, the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gate, the shopping streets and the city’s beautiful parks. Our visit will also include stops at the Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall Memorial Museum. For an optional excursion, you can visit Potsdam and its stunning palaces.

DRESDEN - Day 06

We’ll travel through scenic forests to Dresden, a city renowned for its exceptional architectural and artistic heritage, making it one of Germany’s top tourist destinations. There will be time to admire its magnificent palaces and enjoy lunch at your leisure.

Afterward, we’ll cross into the Czech Republic, arriving in Prague in the mid-afternoon. We’ll include a panoramic tour of this stunning city, where highlights include the Castle, the Town Hall Square, and the iconic Charles Bridge.

To end the day, we’ll include an evening transfer to the city center, where you’ll find numerous traditional breweries.

Note: In some cases, the Prague city tour may take place on Sunday.

PRAGUE - Day 07

A free day to explore Prague at your own pace. Alternatively, you will have the option to explore Artistic Prague, including Mala Strana, the Infant Jesus of Prague, St. Nicholas Church, a cruise on the Vltava River, and the Jewish Quarter. ​

LEDNICE - Day 08 ​

We’ll depart early from Prague and travel to the Moravia region, where we’ll visit Lednice, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We’ll have time to explore its beautiful gardens and admire its stunning castle. Crossing through Slovakia, we’ll enter Hungary and make a stop in Gyor, the city of four rivers, where we’ll have time for lunch and a leisurely stroll. Our journey will continue to Budapest, arriving in the mid-afternoon. In the evening, we’ll include a transfer to the pedestrian area, where you’ll find charming traditional restaurants, many of them featuring live music. ​

BUDAPEST - Day 09

We’ll include a panoramic tour of the city, divided by the Danube River. We’ll visit Buda, with its historic old town, and Pest, known for its lively commercial districts. You’ll have the opportunity to experience the charm of this magnificent city. The afternoon will be free for you to explore at your leisure. ​

BRATISLAVA - Day 10

We’ll depart early from Budapest and travel through Slovakia, where we’ll visit Bratislava, the country’s capital on the banks of the Danube. There will be time for a stroll through its historic center, nestled at the foot of the imposing castle.

Our journey will then take us to Trencin, a charming medieval town in western Slovakia, known for its impressive castle and vibrant historic center. There will be time to explore and enjoy lunch.

In the afternoon, we’ll continue our route through picturesque landscapes of forests and rolling hills as we make our way to Poland. We’ll arrive in Krakow at the end of the day.

WADOWICE - Day 11

In the morning, we’ll include a panoramic tour of Krakow, the capital of "Lesser Poland," founded in the 7th century. Its historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is renowned for its medieval charm. During our visit, we’ll explore its picturesque streets, the Main Market Square—one of the largest in Europe and the heart of the city—and the Wawel Castle Hill, the former residence of Polish kings.

Afterward, we’ll head to Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, a small town set in a scenic landscape, famous for its monastery and chapel complex. Known as the "Calvary," this UNESCO World Heritage Site is an important pilgrimage destination.

Next, we’ll stop in Wadowice, the birthplace of Pope John Paul II, where there will be time for lunch and a leisurely stroll.

In the afternoon, we’ll visit Auschwitz-Birkenau, the Nazi concentration and extermination camp from World War II, where over a million people perished. We’ll visit Birkenau (Camp II) where trains carrying deportees arrived from across Europe.

We’ll arrive in Warsaw at the end of the day.

WARSAW - Day 12

We’ll start the day with a panoramic tour of Warsaw with a local guide. Home to nearly two million people, this political and economic hub of Poland boasts a blend of modern architecture and meticulously restored historic buildings. We’ll stroll through the charming old town, featuring many old buildings, the Royal Palace, and cobbled streets, all restored after their destruction in World War II and now declared a World Heritage Site. We’ll visit the Palace of Culture, a skyscraper gifted by the Soviet Union, reflect on the history of what was once the largest Jewish ghetto in Europe, and wander through Lazienki Park, home to the Chopin Monument.

You’ll have free time in the afternoon to visit museums, such as the National Museum and the Warsaw Rising Museum, or to explore the lively city center filled with shops and activities.

WARSAW - Day 13

After breakfast, our journey will come to an end, leaving you with wonderful lasting memories.
