FRANKFURT - Day 01

Embarkation and dinner on board:

Arrival transfer and reception aboard the MS Crucevita in Mainz to begin your cruise through the Rhine Valley. Check-in begins at 4:00 p.m. However, if you arrive earlier, you may leave your luggage at the reception desk. In the afternoon, enjoy a tour of Mainz (subject to compatibility with your arrival schedule). There will be a welcome reception and dinner, and we’ll sail through the night.

MAINZ - Day 02

We’ll wake up in Mannheim, a vibrant university town situated at the confluence of the Rhine and Neckar Rivers, famously connected to the car industry. It was here in 1817 that Karl Drais built the world’s first two-wheeled vehicle, and in 1886, Carl Benz’s first automobile rolled through its streets. From Mannheim, we’ll visit Heidelberg, renowned for its 14th-century university and the stunning palace perched atop a hill. As evening falls, we’ll sail into the night.

MANNHEIM - Day 03

In the morning, we’ll arrive in Strasbourg, the capital of the Alsace region. Its historic center, Grande Île, was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988 as an outstanding example of a medieval city. The area known as La Petite France, once a bustling district of fishermen and millers, is particularly picturesque with its charming canals. Beyond La Petite France, the historic center boasts numerous landmarks, most notably the majestic cathedral, which stands as a symbol of the city. Overnight on board.

STRASBOURG - Day 04

In the morning, we’ll arrive in Worms, the ancient capital of the Germanic peoples, renowned for its Romanesque architecture. The highlight of our visit is the 11th-century St. Peter’s Cathedral, a masterpiece of High Romanesque style with its four towers and twin domes. Alongside the cathedrals of Speyer and Mainz, it stands as one of the greatest achievements of this architectural period. Worms is also a popular starting point for the Deutsche Weinstrasse, a 50-mile route through charming wine-producing towns.

In the afternoon, we’ll anchor in Rüdesheim, one of Germany’s most visited villages. Its historical landmarks, such as Klunkhardshof, the fortified Adler Tower, the thousand-year-old Brömser Castle, and the ruins of Ehrenfels Castle, are perfect for discovering the town’s rich history. We’ll spend the night on board.

KOBLENZ - Day 05

By midday, we’ll arrive in Koblenz, one of Germany’s most picturesque cities, situated at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle Rivers at the world-famous Deutsches Eck (German Corner). Surrounded by stunning landscapes of four central mountain ranges, vineyards, and forests, this charming city boasts over 2,000 years of history. We´ll spend the night on board.

KOBLENZ - Day 06

Early in the morning, we’ll arrive in Cochem, a charming town in the Moselle wine region, renowned for its exquisite wines and picturesque beauty. The highlight here is the Cochem Castle, with over 1,000 years of history and meticulous restorations over the past century.

In the afternoon, we’ll reach Alken, a quaint village nestled on the banks of the Moselle. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through its enchanting streets. We´ll spend the night on board.

BOPPARD - Day 07

At midday, we’ll arrive in Boppard, a destination that showcases a variety of attractions, highlighting its natural beauty and rich history. You’ll have the chance to see Sterrenberg Castle, Liebenstein Castle, the Church of St. Severinus, or Boppard Bay. In the evening, the Captain’s Dinner will take place. We’ll spend the night on board.

MAINZ - Day 08

Breakfast & disembarkation:

We’ll wake up in Mainz, the city where Johannes Gutenberg invented the movable-type printing press. Its historic center, crowned by its thousand-year-old cathedral, contrasts beautifully with the vibrancy of this modern university city. At 09:00 a.m., passengers must vacate their cabins, though luggage can be stored at reception until departure time. After breakfast, we’ll enjoy a guided tour of Mainz (please ensure it aligns with your flight schedule), after which our services will come to an end, leaving you with wonderful lasting memories.
